County Classics Motor Museum Update – November 2024

Welcome to the latest update from County Classics Motor Museum! As the year draws to a close, we’re thrilled to share some exciting developments, including new exhibits, a special Twilight Evening experience, and our Christmas and New Year opening hours. There’s never been a better time to visit, with something for every automotive enthusiast to enjoy.

New Exhibits Now on Display

We’re delighted to introduce an incredible line-up of new additions to our collection, showcasing a variety of unique and historically significant vehicles:

  • 1997 Ford Probe 24V – A sleek and stylish coupé from the late ‘90s, celebrated for its distinctive design and performance.
  • 1971 MG B Sebring Evocation – A stunning tribute to the racing legend, combining classic design with an undeniable motorsport pedigree.
  • Austin Seven Beaufort Special – A charming and rare example of early British motoring ingenuity.
  • 1997 AC Cobra Superblower 5L – One of just 20 ever made and the very first off the production line, this is a true collector’s masterpiece.
  • Rolls Royce Silver Shadow I – An icon of luxury, representing the pinnacle of British automotive craftsmanship in the 20th century.
  • 1924 Douglas TS Motorcycle – A vintage gem from the early days of motorcycling, offering a glimpse into a bygone era.
  • Suzuki Rotary Engine Motorcycle – A fascinating example of innovation, featuring a rare rotary engine design.
  • 1970 AJS Stormer Scrambles 370cc Motorcycle – A classic off-road powerhouse with a proud competition heritage.

Each new exhibit has its own story and legacy, making a visit to the museum an unforgettable journey through automotive history.

Newly Refurbished Basement – Opening Soon

We’re thrilled to announce the reopening of our newly refurbished basement, which has undergone significant upgrades to provide a state-of-the-art exhibition space. This expansion will house an additional 40 exhibits, giving visitors even more to explore. The official opening will take place on our museum anniversary, making it a perfect opportunity to celebrate with us. Stay tuned for further details on this landmark event!

Twilight Evenings – A Unique Experience

This November, we’re launching Twilight Evenings, offering a truly special way to experience the museum. Join us on the 2nd and last Thursday of each month for this atmospheric event, perfect for a relaxed evening out.

  • Date: Next Twilight Evening – 14th, November 2024, 28th November 2024 & 12th December 2024
  • Time: 6pm to 9pm
  • Tickets:
    • Entry and meal with unlimited drinks – £29.50
    • Options also available for just the meal or museum tickets.
  • Menu: Choose from a selection of three delicious meals prepared fresh for the event.

Christmas and New Year Opening Hours

As the festive season approaches, please take note of our holiday opening times:

  • Closed from 21st December 2024
  • Reopening on 2nd January 2025
